Terms of reading

The terms on which these pages are read

The figures on this site are measurements taken from named public sources and republished with their date and hour. They are information, not advice, and they carry the limits of those sources. This page states what the desk does, what it cannot do, and what it earns from.

Independent editorial desk, not a broker

This site is an independent editorial desk. It is not a broker, not an exchange, and not a licensed adviser. It holds no client money and accepts no orders. The desk measures and republishes figures, and nothing else. A reader who wants to act on those figures must go to a broker or another firm themselves, under that firm's own terms.

Because the desk is not a broker, it cannot open an account for anyone, cannot execute a trade, and cannot hold funds. It also cannot tell a reader which broker to choose beyond that it links to one broker, FxPro, through an affiliate link. The reader decides alone and is responsible for their own decision. The desk's role ends at publishing figures and stating their sources.

Figures are measurements, not advice

The figures on this site describe what things cost at the moment they were read. They are not investment advice, not a recommendation, and not an offer. The threshold, the rate, and the ceiling are quoted from the rule as enacted. The rupee and dollar columns are recalculated at a live rate read from two independent sources. What a bank adds to that rate is not published by any of them, so it is not in this table.

A reader should treat the figures as a starting point, not as a call to action. The desk does not know a reader's situation, their needs, or their tolerance for risk. It cannot say whether a given rate is good for a given person. The figures are measurements of published sources, and they carry the limits of those sources. The reader must decide what to do with them.

Affiliate link to one broker and how the desk is paid

The site links to one broker, FxPro, through an affiliate link. If a reader opens an account there, the site is paid a commission. The reader pays nothing to this site and nothing extra at the broker. This relationship is stated plainly here and on the page about the publisher.

The affiliate relationship does not change the figures. The desk measures and republishes the same public sources whether or not a reader uses the link. The commission is paid by the broker, not by the reader, and it does not affect the rates shown. The desk's income from that commission is the only way the site is paid. There is no other commercial relationship, and no reader data is sold.

No accounts, no tracking, and the editor's address

The site has no accounts, no login, no newsletter, and no comment form. It sets no cookie of its own, runs no analytics, and stores nothing in the reader's browser. The pages are served by a hosting provider which, like any web host, keeps its own technical request logs; the site's publisher does not read a reader's personal data out of them.

Writing to editor@usstockbrokerin.com reaches the editor, Aditi Ranganathan, Editor, cross-border money. Corrections are the reason the address exists: a figure that is wrong is corrected and the correction is dated. The broker's own site is operated by someone else, under its own terms and its own privacy policy, and following the link leaves this site.
